Two-Factor Authentication

Centric offers access to your online banking with a higher level of security through Two-Factor Authentication.

TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION

With hacking and cyber crimes on the rise, Centric is pleased to offer Two-Factor Authentication as an extra security precaution for all online banking members. This multi-factor authentication factor process requires a secondary method of authenticating your account and is designed to protect your privacy, prevent cybercrimes and increase your overall Centric experience.

 

GET STARTED

For all new devices that have not been registered, the system will direct you into the new Two Factor Authentication when you Log into your MyCentric Online Banking using the button found on the top right of this page, or through your MyCentric App.

Online Banking Sign In

 

Once you are logged in, you will be prompted to select one of the following authentications method:

  • Text (If you do not have a cell phone number listed on your account, this option will not be available. The number listed must be a cell number.)
  • Email (If you do not have an email address listed on your account, this option will not be available.)
  • Answer a Challenge (This is our standard security image, challenge questions and Captcha security that you have seen previously.)

 

Two-Factor options

 

Depending on which method you choose, you will receive an Access Code or will be required to utilize the existing authentication method:

 

TEXT
If you select “TEXT,” you will receive an Authentication Code via an SMS Text Message. Enter this code into the field presented under “Text Authentication Code.”

Text Authentication

 

EMAIL
If you select “Email,” an Authentication Code will be sent to the primary email listed on your account. Enter this code into the field presented under “Account Authentication Code.”

 

ANSWER A CHALLENGE
If you select “Answer a Challenge,” you will be required to utilize the existing authentication we are all familiar with.
